Cardinal Cox
A former Peterborough Poet Laureate, Cardinal has been widely published as a poet and writer since the 1980s. While his one-man show High Stakes has been taken to Finland and Ireland. Another claim to fame for Cardinal was being a member of the Warriors Gate team that won Telly Addicts in 1994. A page of Cardinal-related links can be found here.
Andy Darlington
A regular contributor to the International Times and British music papers, Andy is also the author of a variety of books since the 1970s. He has interviewed the likes of Grace Slick and Noddy Holder.
Fay Dickinson
Fay wrote one-liners for BBC radio shows The News Huddlines and Week Ending.
Dorothy Koenigsberger
Dorothy was a noted historian, and she was married to Helli for many years, who was one of the most respected experts on early-modern European history.
Alec Linstead
As an actor, Alec appeared as Sgt. Osgood in the 1971 Doctor Who serial The Dæmons, and as Captain Mainwaring in the 1990s sitcom Goodnight Sweetheart.
Henry Normal
First finding fame as a novel live poet, that included reading poetry with a paper bag over his head, Henry really made his name in the early '90s Channel 4 TV series A Packet of Three, alongside Frank Skinner and Jenny Eclair. Since then Henry has really made his name via Baby Cow Productions, which he set up in 1999. As either writer and producer, Henry has been involved with a long list of acclaimed British comedy shows from the 1990s onwards, including Gavin and Stacey, The Royle Family (which he co-created), Red Dwarf, The Mighty Boosh, Mrs Merton Show, Marion and Geoff, Nighty Night and Alan Partridge. With comedian Steve Coogan, Henry also co-wrote a number of Coogan's TV shows. The Oscar nominated 2013 film Philomena, which starred Coogan, was partly produced by Baby Cow.
Peggy Poole
Peggy was an important figure in the NW poetry scene in England, and she was the producer of Radio Merseyside's First Heard literary programme for over 20 years. The Poetry Society now has a poetry award named in Peggy's honour, the Peggy Poole Award.

Andy Savage
A prolific producer of poetry and publications as a teenager in the 1980s, Andy joined The Peace & Freedom Band in 1988. He was one of the famous 'jacuzzi poets' that appeared in the Daily Mirror, while he also made a rocking appearance on Channel 4 TV series Under the Moon in the late 1990s with a World Cup song. Steve Sneyd
Steve "is Britain's - and possibly the world's - most widely published poet" said the International Times. Steve was the godfather of the small press sci-fi/fantasy/horror scene in the UK for decades until his death in 2018. According to Atlantean Publishing, Steve's work appeared in 1,000+ publications, and you'll find a few articles by Steve on this site.
Victor West
